It's been a rather quiet Halloween! I am rather suprised - but okay with that!
I was got my treat this morning. I usually clean off the front door when I get to work in the morning. It was a good thing I did the outside, because I saw the sign that said we were closing at 5 instead of 7pm! Well that means an early day for me! WAHOO! I am normally not done until 6. So I could leave and catch my 3pm bus, when the 2:30 girls get there.
Oh and I was soo proud of myself today! I am in charge of the Make - n Take this Thur. We do one in the store every month. It's usually just a tag or a card, or layout, to promot a new product and they customer makes it and takes it home. We keep it pretty cheap $1.99. Well we have this big brads (brads are paper fastners) but they come in all diffrent colors and sizes for scrapbooking. We just got some new HUGE round ones. I wanted to do something with a Thanksgiving theme. I thought why not do a Turkey - ya know like the ones we used to make in grade school. I could use the brad as the head or the butt. We had some flower paper. I cut the paper flower petals out and then cut the flowers in half, to use for the turkey's feathers. I did two of them and put them behind each other like a fan for more feathers. Then with a little rain drop paper punch I made the gooble and turned the tear drop upside down. It worked perfect! I used a little tiny hole puncher to do the black eyes out of black cardstock and the beak with the left over flower paper. It turned out SOOO cute! It was the hit of the day! And it's SUPER easy! Oh and for the feet, I used twine orange ribbon! Then I just put him on a little card and made a name plate. I think I will do them for Thanksgiving!
So I came home early. Stared dinner and laundry. It was nice to get some things done. But I am SOO unusually tired today! I couldn't keep my eyes open on the bus!
We only had a few trick or treaters and right at the early part of the evening before Monday Night Football even got started!
My favorite costumes I saw tonight were the little Spiderman and the Batman, but my favorite was the Buzz lightyear with helment and wings and everything!

Must NOT kill Sister -In Law- Must Not KILL Sister - In Law! Ok just had to get that OUT of my system! I am referring to Carls sister in case anyone is wondering ( I have many! lol!)
Ok - it's been a bit of a crazy weekend! I hope you are all liking my haunted blog. I seem to be struggling with the decorating in the apartment, so I do better on the computer! I even went to Michaels and another craft store. No luck, however I did find a few more things to start a few more projects.
Carl and I spent most of Saturday running around and getting errands done. We didn't make it to the BQue at the Kellers and now we're both kickin our selves, because they were asking about us today at church and were we were. I guess they smoked ribs! Well crap for crap!!
Today I was helping Carl getting his blog going. Although I am showing him how to change the colors and the codes to get what he wants on it. So check it. He's going to base it more on his sports stuff, since he can only generally talk about work and stuff. For some reason a few of his logos aren't working. If you can see them - please tell how it looks. When we update it we can't see them! I am hoping it's just our browser.
Tomorrow we are looking forward to staying home and watching Monday night Football and passing out candy to the trick or treaters. We have a lot of kids in our apartment, so it should be fun!
We won't talk about Football today because I am in mourning! Half of the Green Bay Packers is out for the season or part of it. Its a sad sad day when the Arizona Cardinals have a better record than the Green Bay Packers!! xcuse, me while I go cry myself to sleep!!

HA HA HA! LOL at my own title. Its a nice thought.
I have started a little this week.Organizing the guest room closet/hallway! And my scrapbook stuff. I need to get some big containers to put my paper in. I have a folding one that mom gave be a few Christmases ago, but I have it filled to the max. Both the plastic one and the accordian file one. I have a few things to drop off at D.I. It looks like it's about time to organize the pantry again and clean it out. I have been really good (especially since being in a smaller apartment) is rotating stuff in the closets and trying to keep it organized at least so I know where things are. The storage unit on the back patio is another issue! I don't think we'll go there for a while!

The girls have hashed things out at work, so I think it's all good there now. I hope! Robyn doesn't know anything about the Mystery Christmas Party, which really suprise me!

I also wanna play this weekend. Since I don't have to work. I want to go to church this weekend and go to Wallace and Gromit. Christy wants to hang out with us tomorrow for part of her bday and then we have the usual Sunday dinner at Ben and Ingers.
Tomorrow night we have a bbque at the Kellers.But I forgot to call her and see what we need to bring. It should be fun. It just adults at the party!
But the most important part - is we get to sleep in!! YEAHH!!

The days are going so fast! It's getting hard to keep track of what day of the week it is! I have to ask someone at work at least once a day!
Last week was a good week health wise. This week - not so good! If I could just get the violent stomach attacks to stop I would be good. But they totally wipe me out! I am sooo glad I can see MY Dr. on Wednsday!
I just refuse to believe the diverticulitis is the cause of this.Not just because I LOVE to eat everything, well except lettuce!But because it doesn't seem to matter when I eat or not. That' s what's soo frustrating!
I've been very good - I've tried really hard to just tolerate it. But I HATE it! It makes me wanna cry!
Ok enough of the depressing stuff. Work is a soap opera right now. I'm not sure why! I am staying out of it. Why can't people just work their scheduled shifts?! Why can't they just talk to the person who was supposed to cover their shifts!? Ok that was not so uplifting - but a paciluar thing (if that's how ya spell it!) happened today. Jen (our #1 boss the Owner, came in today! She was in the lab all day today working on something. Finally It got slow enough in the afternoon and we actually had coverage, so I went in the lab and worked on a layout. Jen was finishing her project. She was making cards for a party. She was proud of it in a silly way. They were so cute! She handed it to me to see. She said they are doing a party for us Dec 7th. Thats a Wednsday! They are actually going to close the store down for a day! HOLY MOLY! Man we can't even get her take Labor Day off! LOL! I don't know if this a good thing or a bad thing. But the invitation is requesting EVERYONE to rearrange their schedules to be there by 9am and to be there part of the evening! This is going to be really intresting! I have NO idea what they are planning. Robyn didn't seem to really know either. Or she's keeping it a secret! So I am a little exited but a little apprehensive! Will we do a scrap -a thon?! We just did one, it was a lot of fun, but to close the store down for a whole day during the week! This is sooo strange!
So that will keep us in suspense for a month! LOL! I don't think they are going to tell us either!
Oh I have started working on Christmas! Christmas?! Did I just say that outloud?! Oh dear! I have not been on the computer much but at the kitchen table! Which I hate. I need a craft table in the worst way! But I
started two projects already. Plus I got most of my Halloween cards done and in the mail! Ohh except Trina and Kait - forgive me, you may get yours on Halloween, I forgot them, I had them stamped but they just didn't get in the mail box, but I will drop them off on my way to work tomorrow. Michelle - I am sending Shea and Angels to Moms house, will you let them know?! I don't have their new address.

That's how I feel today! YUCK! I was doin pretty good for a while, but last night and this morning - YUCK! I debated going to work. I have diarreah again and I bleeding. (sorry I know too much information) I have been a little light headed and feeling out of it.
The Dr's office called and said they were going to call in another prescription for me and they needed the number - so I called them back, the nurse also is leaving a message with the doctor, because of my symptoms. I still can't get in until the 2nd of Nov! UGH!!
I didn't end up going in. I tried to call a couple of people in with no luck.
I know it was Melissa and Paula and Denise - so I hope they were okay.
I ended up sleeping for four hours. I could have kept sleeping, but I forced myself to get up and fix dinner.
I made a really yummy dinner, I kept it light and simple and just did baked Chicken Breasts. But they were actually really good.
I SOOOO HATE this because I have a million things I wanna do right now and I don't have the energy! And I was reminded last night that it's Christys bday this weekend (my Sister Inlaw, we're pretty close!) ohh I totally forgot, so I gotta come up with something fast!

Well.... I was not able to post last night, because we didn't get home till almost 11pm. We went out to Aunt Beth's and Uncle Dales. They live in Northeast Phoenix, so we don't get out there as often as we should. Cassi called before church to invite us to dinner. We were just going to go up, because they were going to eat at 2pm. We have church from 1-4. But Carl didn't have to teach. But Bro. Keller called at about 11am to inform him that he actually was teaching. So I called Beth back and told them we'd be up after. She said they were going to go ahead and eat but there would be plenty for us and they would do something with us when we got there, but she wanted us to come up anyway because Toria and John and their baby Asher were in town from California. I haven't seen Tori since the wedding. Beth sent me some pictures a little bit ago in through email. Aren't they cute! Little Asher is a doll. He burned his hand on an iron, and they were having a heck of a time keeping it wrapped, but he didn't seem to bothered by it, except when he had to sit still to get it bandaged.
I have other pictures that I took there, but I forgot my digital card, so I am going to have load them the hard way.
I had a nasty headache most of the day yesterday, it left me feeling pretty wiped out today.
Although I took my Halloween cards to work and Robyn and Teresa loved them - she had me make a copy of them and hang them up. I felt kinda wierd doing it. I don't know why. Maybe cause it was my own personal stuff. I am getting stamps tomorrow so I will have them mailed by tomorrow night, so most of you will get them this weekend or on Halloween! I HOPE! Michelle, I hope hope you will get yours BEFORE the holiday!! LOL! I think the Salt Lake City Mail Man is SLOW! LOL!

Soo.. here is a not so very detailed conversations with Carl today! Because I was shopping for clothes.
Me - "this color is Salmon!"
Carl - "Salmon is not a color it is a FISH!"
Me - "One of our cardstock colors at work, Celery Green
is discontinued!"
Carl - "What on earth is Celery Green?!"
Me - "Light Green, ya know like a celery stick?!"
Carl " it's not Celery Green, it's just GREEN!"

The women at his work, wonderful wonderful friends of ours - I might add - are teaching him new colors, like Coral and Turquoise! He could go with the Turquoise because that is one of the Diamond Back colors, Coral is something found in the OCEAN! I try and try to explain to him there are more colors than the three primary colors, Red, Yellow and Blue! In my line of work this is very important.

Oh and for my dog - I have NO dog! Buster seems to be pretending I don't exsist! It started this morning. Usually he likes to be up on the bed first thing in the morning after they have been out. He would pay no attention to me. I will call him, I took him outside, gave him a treat and when I call him or go to pet him - He goes straight to Carl!

So my new latest favorite thing - is the new Martha Stewart 'Apprentice' show! I am quite suprised at myself really! I think Carl is too. I'm not really a big fan of anything except football, these days. But for some reason I love this show! I love the challenges! The only guy I don't like - is this Jim guy. I think he should have been 'let go' tonight, but the other girl should have taken the sales part away from him and that's why Martha decided to let her go. Jim is a time bomb, but like Carl said I think they are making him out to be the male version of Omarosa from the Apprentice, his exit will have more drama I'm sure. Unless that's not Martha's thing?!
But I'm really liking Martha Stewart, it's nice to see her from a different view. She is actually being very open and very fascinating. I never really had an opinion of her before, I didn't see what all the hype was about! She's even talked a little bit about her prison experience and that has suprised me too. I have been pleasantly suprised and that's a good thing! HA HA! LOL! Okay that was cheesy!

So after my crazy shift of 11-7, and helping Michelle close the store, I still had to go to the grocery store, fix dinner, iron and make cookies for Carls work tomorrow. We got home just as Martha had started. So I made dinner, then started the cookies. I was sorta bummed, last week, my chocolate chip cookies were almost Martha approval, they were light and fluffy, except that I accidently made them with dark choc instead of milk chocolate! So tonight I thought I would try using real butter. So I bought Tillamook Butter the best stuff, I thought that would make a difference. But NO! That's a big fat NO! Now I am convinced that the trick to the best cookies is Shortening (which I used last time w/butter) and refrigerating the dough before I bake! I think I need to go to baking school! Oh but I got everything I needed to by 10pm! And I'm off tomorrow!!

The sky is falling!! The Sky is falling!! Okay it's not really but at 1am it sure sounded like it! We had more thunder and lightening! Poor Bilko was pacing the floor. So we put him up on the bed and he started pacing the bed, so we put him back on the floor, poor dog just couldn't win. Even Busters nerves seemed a little rattled!
The rain has been off and on through out the day as it did yesterday, it's cooled tempatures down nicely!
This morning I on the way out to work, I noticed that Mike, my brother,
had called late last night about 9:30 on my cell phone, left a message.
I told Carl he probably needed a refrence from work! Or maybe they were expecting again! Either way I would call him back on my way to work.
Well finally I decided to call him a little after 7am. I knew either he would be up or Jen and the kids would be up getting ready for school. They live in Oregon, so I knew they were on the same time zone us, and Mikie work wierd hours.
I called while I was on the bus. It was funny Austin answered. He was yelling on the phone! He couldn't hear me very well I guess. It reminded me of that conversation on Harry Potter where Ron Wesley tries to call the Dursleys for Harry! LOL! When Austin fiqured out who I was - I told him that Mike tried to call. He told me he was asleep but Jen was there and getting ready. I talked to Jen briefly and she did say that he needed our address for work info.
He is getting a job with Sherriffs dept. and they do background checks, so he needed our information and didn't know if he had it current.
We talked for a bit, it was nice to talk to her. I know I should call more often. I am TERRIBLE with the phone. I have mentioned that in my blog before.
It was funny. I went to lunch finally at 2pm because today was TOTALLY insane in at work! I had my kids class this morning. But then I checked my phone again and saw that Mike had called again! I thought maybe he just hadn't talked to Jen yet. So I called him back. He said I swear I just talked to you! LOL! I said "well I talked to Jen this morning and she told me what you needed! but I'll talk to you again!" LOL! So we talked for about 20 mins. It was good just to talk to him to. He said they were trying to decide what to do for the holidays.
I am really excited for him about this Sherriffs job. I hope he gets it. I think it's totally awsome that he does it. He does the highway patrol now, for parts of the 101 highway, I can't remember what county they are in, in Oregon. I am totally proud of him!!
Oh back to work - My kids class was fun this morning. I only had 4 little girls. It was an art page, but it was cool, because I did the title in an outline so they could color it in, and then left them a spot to autograph it and then other places where they could draw in the squares. Maybe tomorrow, I'll bring it home and see if I can post it. We finished a little early and 2 of the girls had to wait for their dad to pick them up, so they sat and colored their pictures. I think it was great for them to do their own art work and sign in! I only made about $30 off this one, but I definately enjoyed this one more. Normally kids really scare me, but I was totally comfortable and I hope they had fun!
We've had to do some rearranging of schedules again, because of people being gone on vacation. I am a little irrated, but it may work out better.
I am working 11-7 tomorrow, so poor Michelle won't be alone tomorrow.
Then I am off on Thurs. my normal 9-6 on Fri and then I am going to help Michelle close on Sat!
I did have a Dr.'s appt, but I called to confirm the appt tomorrow, and they have me down for Dr. Lily again instead of Freburg! I was mad! She was the stupid lady I saw last time. So I had them also see if they could just refill my antibotic, instead and made an appt WITH Freburg even though I can't get in to see him until the 2nd of Nov!! I hope they just can refill my antibotic, it seems to be the only thing working!

Today was Gray! It's been very gray and windy most of the day. But no rain, most likely tomorrow.
I did not feel good this morning. I was wide awake about 3am. I got up and played a game on the computer, took some medicine and a warm bath and went back to bed.
I wanted to go to at least Sacrement meeting today. So we got dressed and went. I talked to Sis. Bradshaw and the Bishop and the Pickets, briefly before the meeting started. Everyone asked how I was doing. I felt better being there, but we only stayed for Sacrement meeting. There was a couple sitting next to us, that had a little boy, probably about a year old or so, he was very cute and very good. He was fascinated by everything!He was fun to watch! Some days I think having kids would be a good thing and then other times it terrifies me. I suppose that's normal. I know Carl is really wanting to have kids. My two biggest hangups are 1. being in an apartment 2. being finacially sound but does that ever happen?!
We talked about it a little tonight. It is becoming to be more of a subject of discussion. Maybe I can find out what's really going with the health issuses. I am glad I am seeing Dr. Freburg on Wed.
Anyway - on a liter silly note, it's quarter to ten on a Sunday night and I just put blueberry muffins in the oven! LOL! They sounded really good and they smell really good!

Last night was a lot of fun. I didn't have to work the Friday Night Crop at work - I was somewhat bummed but somewhat relieved.
So Carl picked me up and we went out for dinner - he wanted Steak. We like Texas Roadhouse, but they are hard to get into any night, but worse on Friday nights. So we went next door to Texas Roadhouse, to a place called Charlestons. We like it too. It's a lot quiter than Texas RH and they dim the lights at the tables so it's like a casual candle light dinner setting. They do an excellent Baked Potatoe Soup, definately better than Black Angus! Carl and I filled up on that mostly. He did get his steak!
Then we met Sue and her kids -Shane and Jerrott and their two dogs, at the dog park! Buster and Bilko were more than excited to go. We haven't gone all summer, it's been SOO hot! It was soo funny Buster got to the park and kept pooping and pooping and pooping and pooping! LOL! Usually it's Bilko that has to poop everywhere! But for Buster it was a special occasion! lol!
This morning - we signed our last lease with these apartments. We signed an 8mo lease. So when we get back from Sweden in June, we will have to find something or find something before we leave.
We met Sue and Shane again this morning. They signed up for Karate lessons at the YMCA - they were testing for their yellow belts. It was kinda fun to go and watch! Especially some of the little kids who were really into it! We watched all the different levels test. Then their master spoke to everybody. He should have a translater. He was VERY difficult to understand! Sue told us he is 70yrs old. He looks 40! He's from Korea.We met Dian there and her Big Sister. She has a teenager that she is a big sister for. She was until she was 18, but she still does stuff with her. She's very nice. Shane and Sue did very well, or so we thought, she said they won't find out their results until Wednsday.
Tonight I am very restless again. And I have a terrible case of the munchies, but nothing sounds good! I HATE that feeling!
We tried again to go see Wallace and Gromit, but we had soo many errands to run. Maybe next weekend! ughh! I REALLY Want to see it! Gosh Darnit!

I feel silly calling it that - Wed I mean! But it's what it is! I am already looking forward to the weekend.
I have no voice still. It's very horsey or very squeeky and whispery. They would not let me answer the phones at work, which was okay by me. I HATE the telephone! I am not a phone person. Not sure why! Robyn would harass me today just because I could yell back at her. But at the same time I would say something and she would say something silly back to me!
Oh funny thing happened on the way to work! I was COLD! I mean it was cold outside! I almost needed a sweater! Did I just say that?!!!! It's only October! It's supposed to warm back up again before winter really hits. Or what we call winter in Arizona!
Otherwise it has been a pretty boring hump day! Carl gets paid tomorrow! I really want to go shopping this weekned! I need to get some new capris, I have about worn the out the ones I have now. I have two pairs on their last life! I like to get them while they are on clearance, especially if I get the womens ones, because they are jeans on me and much cheaper!! HA HA!

Carl said Dian and Daniel were waiting for him at work this morning to harrass him about me winning my first week of the football pool! LOL! He was expecting to get a little harrassed! LOL! I also sat up last night making a bday card for his boss, for their office to sign. That was my job! lol!
I love his co-workers, as much as I love mine. I am feelin for Robyn. She is soo frustrated with our owners right now, and a little of the staff. I guess some are not wanting to get their shifts covered, next week is fall break and she's worried no one will work. She has pleaded with them to get them covered. Others wise, Melissa and I will be a two man band! lol!

I was a little mad though toward the end of my shift Robyn was helping a customer, the customer had come in this afternoon and I had helped her orignally. Well, Robyn said the customer (it was actually the customers daughter) said I over charged her 7 stickers, she only bought 2. Ok now I remember the lady. We normally count everything Ourselves cardstock and stickers, to avoid things like this! I remembered unfolding the stickers to count them, but I don't remember how many I counted if it was 2 or 9. Well Robyn counted what we had in the store and fiqured it out from what was sold that I did in fact sell her 9 stickers?! with me still?! The woman had sent in her daughter, no bag and no reciept. With no reciept I am suprised Robyn even gave her back the money. Robyn said she looked it up in her customer info and saw she actually bought 9. So did I really sell her 9 stickers? I was mad because now I doubted that I had counted all of them. At the same time why would I count only 2 if there was still 7 of them sitting there!? That's a big number to miss. The stickers were sticker borders, not little stickers. If they were little stickers it would have been something entirely different. Robyn was sure that I had done the right thing and the lady was trying to pull a fast one. But what do you do and how you do you prove it?! I was really irrated. I do my best to do my job well and to do it right. We have a pretty strict no return policy for this reason also. I've also worked enough retail, to know that if I am going to return something especially the SAME day, I will take the bag AND the reciept! That's just common sense!! GRRR....

Otherwise it was a very pleasant evening. We opened the doors and windows and let the apartment air out. I finished making my cookies.
I will be more than happy if I can sleep the night through without having to get up to take another medication!!

oh Did I mention I have slowly been loosing my voice this week! Everyone is telling me I sound horsey! lol! I am not sick I just sound horsey!

WAHOO!! I was included on Carls football pool at work. There were more people added besides me! I am coming in first place! I had the most wins this week! WAHOO!! I never win stuff like this! I think the pots only like $15 but hey it was a little beginners luck. There were only a few picks I wasn't sure of - and I only lost one of them! The Cinnicinati/Chicago. I picked Chicago but Cinn pulled it out in the end.
I am extremely pleased with the Packers win today as well! 53-3!!! They desperately needed this win!Favre has been on top of his games, but the defence decided to show up today as well!
Neither of us felt like going to church today!This lack of sleep is not good! We are just feeling tired. Our days are getting busier and shorter. Fortunately Carl has tomorrow off. So he can relax.
We were going to take the dogs to the dog park, but we were too tired to even do that! Maybe tomorrow night!
It was a goregous afternoon. We had the windows open until about 1pm!
It was only about 86degrees!! They said it will be that way till Wed or Thur and then warm up a bit again.
I made a yummy dinner! We did Spaghetti in the crock pot, but I did my rolls and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I am perfecting my rolls. You can never go wrong with Relief Society cookbooks! I tried two roll recipes on line and neither turned out very well. I went back to the one in the R.S. book and they were perfect. Nice light and fluffy but not flakey!
I am going to start taking one thing and learning how to make it. At the top of my list is Cinnamon rolls or Orange rolls (like my mom used to make when we were kids!) or chocolate cake from scratch.
I am also working on a few scrapbooking projects. I seem to like the projects more than doing layouts! Its all enough to keep me busy and it forces me to organize my stuff!
I just wish I had better kitchen stuff and a bigger kitchen and somewhere to do my scrapbooking besides the kitchen table!

We were going to try and go to the temple this morning. We both wanted to go. However last night was a rough night! I was up every hour on the hour and my right side has flared up again.
I slept from about 4am to 8am. So I still got about 4hrs. Then I couldn't go back to sleep.
Carl got the oil changed this morning and I got the house clean. While I was feeling somewhat normal.
We had lunch with Herb and Janet, they are going back to Salt Lake in the morning.
It was VERY windy today! The clouds got a little dark, but I think it's still too hot to rain. It just blew a lot of dust around.
Not a whole lot of excitement goin on.
We had dinner at Christys. I made my rolls again, but they were much better this time. I let them rise, then covered them and refrigerated them for 3hrs. I made sure it was covered with plastic wrap really well, so it wouldn't dry out. Last time I think I left it out too long. They were yummy!

It's been a wierd week! For some reason I am a little disoriented and getting the days mixed up. I will start something and then forget what I was doing. I think it's just because my body is still weirding out!
Work SUCKED today. Every one was gone, but fortunately I was able to still get a lot done! Nothing really cute in this week. We have a big anniversary sale coming tomorrow and Sat. I am glad I only have to work tomorrow - and it's pay day! I should have a good one, because I'll have my first two weeks of full time.
Oh but a good thing today at work. First, my friend Kerry came in - she gave me a hug! It was good to see her. I'll usually see her when she comes to get adhesive!LOL! I met Maddy another one of Kerry's friends a few days ago. She came up and introduced herself! I really want to get the courage to go to the crop with them. I am so painfully shy!
Then another lady came in Penny, I often help her in picking stuff out, and she asks my opinion on a lot of projects. She brought me a Pottery Barn candle!! How nice is that! She had one for Michelle, because she helps her in the evening when I am not there! I thought that was SOO sweet! There were two a apple pie one, I can't remember what the other one was, but I picked the apple pie one, I thought Carl would like that one! It was in a nice bag! I just thought it was soo thoughtful!
Oh I had my cards all ready to get mailed and addresses and everything and now they have VANISHED!I am hoping I put them in one of my photo boxes on accident when I was cleaning out my stuff! If not I will have to do new ones! I hope they turn up!
Carl got sad news at work yesterday - He said Daniel (the one who helps us do football pools!) gave his two week notice. This is so sad because they all are working wonderfully together. It's a big blow to the office. Carl said they are wearing black bands. This means that Carl will be slammed with new stuff. They have speed up rotation. He was supposed to Criminal stuff, but now he's doing something else, I can't think of what its called. A raise would be nice! lol!
I can't wait to see Wallace and Gromit this weekend! That will be awsome!

I am totally pooped today! I am feeling better. But sore. I just feel like someone has punched me really hard on my right side. The muscle relaxers are helping but I think that's why I am sore.
Work was crazy today! I am not sure why.Last week it was dead, but after I got back from lunch we never seemed to catch a break!
We did get a huge order from EK success, they do all the Disney and other cartoons stuff, and Harley stuff etc. They are our biggest orders. Besides the Bazzill cardstock, which we normally get on Tuesday. I just realized that. I wonder why it didn't come today. Unfortunately this is the boring stuff, because it's the basics, restock stuff. It's about as much fun as getting socks and underwear for Christmas!!
So far I have 5 kids signed up for my Art class. That one will be fun. I am not all that excited about my Pet Christmas one. So I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't do as well. It is still a cute layout but it was a challenge.
Not much else happening. Tonight we just crashed. We're both just pooped, but this time it's a good kind of pooped!

Usually Monday nights fall in favor for my favorite Green Bay Packer team, but not tonight. They seemed to be the ones getting the nasty calls that killed them! Plus a serious injury to their rookie, Terrance Murphy! Now Ahman Green's got an injury as well! This just sucks! But I am remaining hopeful. Last year they started 1-4. Now they are 0-4. Those injuries hopeful won't be long lasting! I love this game!
I felt better today than I have in a long time! It was nice. I actually got stuff done.
Oh it was so funny this morning, Denise came looking for me in the store. She said "I have a suprise for you!" she wouldn't tell me what it was! She walked me back to the invetory desk and opened the new box of Creative Imaginations stuff. There was the Spongebob line! I was really excited. I am going to do something really cool for Shea and Britton I was just waiting for the stuff. I thought it was so funny she was so excited to show it to me. Aubrey is also really into Spongebob so her and I were oohing and awwing over the paper and the 2nd set of stickers. I already bought one sticker set.
That's my favorite part of this job. Especially right now, because we are starting to see the stuff - Tresea ordered at the shows. She had me put up a new line of K and Company. It's a whole new little boys line. It has reds and blue and greens, trucks and airplanes, but it's got a roughed up look to it. It's VERY cool!! I LOVE LOVE seeing all the new stuff!

Herb and Janet are in town (carls parents).for Herbs bday. They come down a lot more since Herb has retired. His bday was yesterday, so we went to dinner with them and Christy and Alexis, (his sister and neice)and then Holly and Julie.(carls cousins).That was fun, except that I had taken a muscle relaxer after work and it makes me REALLY drowsy. It works good, just makes me really sleepy. And it is doing more for my stomach pains that I thought. So that's an upside!

The drive to Tombstone is long. It was 2 1/2 hrs! But Herb and Janet bought a REALLY nice van- so we were all able to fit comfortably. And it has tv/dvd player, so we watched movies!

Alexis I think was bored even though she had a friend with her. She was okay I think once we got there. She's 13! LOL! She wanted her music, but she forgot her player!

Tombstone is pretty much a hole. It reminded me a lot of El Paso. Just UGLY dirt!We mostly drove around. Herb and Janet and Christy and Alexis and her friend got the carriage ride. Carl and I decided not to, I wasn't up for it, and was only 15 mins for $10 a person. I thought that was a little crazy! It's all a touristy trap now. Lunch was TERRIBLE!! We stopped at a little cafe place, the OK Cafe next to the OK Corral!

The cemetry was my favorite part. It was intresting to read the information on the deaths. They give you a little book that tells what happened to each person. A lot of them were just STUPID arguments or wierd accidents. Like one was over a cattle drive. The one wanted it to faster and the other wanted to go slower, they couldn't decide so the one guy shot and killed the other guy! Then of course there's the famous ones. But we didn't get over to the Ok corral. The court house was good too. Carl liked that one! He and Herb went inside, I just stayed outside and took pictures.

We watched National Treasure on the way home. One of my favorite movies! Alexis even enjoyed that one! She has to watch it for History for extra credit, because they are studying the Revolutionary war.

It was a fun time, but I wasn't impressed with Tombstone but I can now say I've been there!
