My horrible, no good Very bad day, has turned into today. No luck finding the planner still, I called the bank. It sucks I had to pay to ride the bus today. The bus driver on my second bus - said he would check with dispatch. I HATE not having my debit card with me.
I have searched the house high and low, and even gone through the trash twice. I have a monsterous headache. UGHH! I HATE HATE HATE this!

Just a quick post tonight, I went to leave this eveing, to get some wire and paint for my class project, and couldn't find my planner. I am just sick about it. It has everything in it, from my temple recommend, to credit cards and id and my bus pass!I have been sooo good at not leaving it places!! We tore the apartment apart!! The only thing I can think of is on the bus. Fortunately I get off at the end of the run, there was only one other person on the bus. I will call lost and found tomorrow. I tried to several times tonight! Here's praying it shows up!!

It's one of those BEAUTIFUL days today, where you aren't sure whether to take a nap, or run and play outside. Having it be Sunday doesn't make that decision any easier.

I was ready to go to church today, I was even going to wear my blue denim floral dress, that Carl loves, but Christy called about 10am and wanted to go have some relief time.She's having a downer weekend. She has some things to work out with Alexis and in the romance department, so she didn't want to be home alone today. So she took us to lunch and we stopped at IKEA. We actually did find a lamp for the living room, we've been looking for one for quite some time now, she was getting a frame for Alexis's bedroom. We've tried soo hard not do our shopping on Sundays. We've been really good, we try not to even go to the grocery store. But today NOT so good! I hope I am not going to hell for it! LOL!

Yesterday was not so good, I didn't feel good at all when I woke up, but I knew we had a ton of errands to run and two more apartments to look at.
We got to the bank, and realized I had forgot my check. I was feeling really sick to my stomach, having to stop at the closest bathroom on the way. I was not amused. It was wierd.
The apartments turned out not what we wanted either. We got home and finally about 7:30 I was ready to call it a day. I layed down and decided to crochet a little bit, and was fast asleep. I didn't get up again! I am the night owl! LOL!

I have a pot roast in the crock pot, I turned it over and it fell apart so I turned it down so it can just simmer for a bit. Maybe I'll make cookies a little later!

Oh Carl spent this morning working on his blog, he's got a sports one going and political one going, he's still working on them, but I think they are really cool, so be sure to check it out!

YEAH! It's Friday!! And Pay Day!!

I stayed late today, since we had a ton do. I went to lunch with Brenda this afternoon. I so want her to come back to work! Brenda come back to work!!
It's official I am now going to start teaching regular classes. I have my first one on the 22nd of Feb!!We are doing Pampered Pets. I am making a hook to hang dog leashes on. It's a plaque we have with three little hooks. I am going to alter with doggie paper, we have chip board letters on it, that will spell out dog. It will be SUPER cute!
I am still doing the kids classes on the 14th. I did kids classes last year, but not regular ones! Pets too. And then I am doing another class in March that one I will do a treat box or tin I think or a layout.
Teresa is going to order the plaques for me at the show this weekend.She is also going to look for frames for my kids class. We want the kids to be able to paint the frames. We have chipboard ones, but I think I would rather have wood. I am not crazy about the chipboard ones.

We were going to go to the dog park again with Sue, we went last week. Little Bilko just loves Shane! Bilko is getting much better about being social with other dogs. Even the big dogs, because Sue's dogs are big.

I think it will be a pretty quiet weekend. And thats okay!

It was definately a hump day today! It was like there was a full moon or something.
This morning I had a not so nice lady come in, she was complaining to Melissa about how she couldn't find what she was looking for (even though the item she was looking for was outdated two years ago!), that her husband got her a $100 gift certificate for JoAnn's for Christmas, and she won't come HERE anymore because they have a beter selection! I rang her out, I apologized that she couldn't find what she was looking for, she continued to grumble, and still bought $50 worth of stuff and left still mumbling and being huffy! Okay then!
Then about five minutes later another lady comes out of our restroom and says - "I think I lost the key or flushed it down the toliet on accident!" this is a grown woman!! This is our third key set. I thought this was a master, but Melissa found another one in Teresa's office. I hope she doesn't know about the lady lossing the key! It's on a key ring! Okay then!lol!
Then another lady calls and wants thank you stickers. We have individual Mrs Grossmans ones. They are on a roll. One is gold and one is silver and so on well, she called wanting 60 of JUST silver! So Melissa took all the gold ones off, (you have to tear them off the roll) and then tapped the gold ones back on after getting the 60 silver! LOL! I don't know that I would have done it, I would have just said "I'm sorry Ma'am they don't come that way!". Someone is going to have a good time tryin to tear the gold ones off, when they are just taped on the back! LOL!
The best part of the day was lunch with Jenni, she used to work at the store with us. We went to Flanchers a local sandwhich shop. It was pretty good.
Oh and I am not only going to teach two kids classes, Robyn wants me to still do my "pampered pets", for the kids class but then she wants me to do a regular class too, I can do a different project every month. So I need to come up with some creative ideas, so if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Teresa ordered this really cute charms. And there are SUPER cute doggie ones. She brought them up to show them to me today, she even waited till I finished ringing out people to show them to me. I thought that was so funny! I said "when are we going to get those!" she said "what do you mean they just came today and I had to show you!", lol, I said "oh I thought it was just a sample, of what you were going to order at the show this weekend!I thought you were just teasing me with them!" LOL! She laughed!

I got into work this afternoon as planned. It was REALLY slow. It's wierd how we go through these spurts. But it's a nice change too, to get stuff done. I really like what I do for the most part. I mean stress at the scrapbook store! LOL! the only time there is like I have mentioned before is when there is one of us or two of us, it's not a two man job. Or when there are scheduling conflicts. (which we seem to have an abundance of lately!)

K - so Robyn hired this new girl a few days ago, (I can't remember if I mentioned it or not) she is intresting. I am trying REALLY hard not to form a bad opinion or opinion of her right off. She is VERY overbearing! She's kind of a heavy set girl with a very 'Firm' hand shake. After day one (friday) we knew there would be one person in the store that might have 'issuses' with her. Michelle. I LOVE LOVE dear Michelle. I knew that they were working together on the weekend. So today - little Kristie (just a sweet thing too!). Asked me about the new girl. I said yes, I had worked with her a little already. Kristie rolled her eyes at me and I laughed. I asked how it went with Michelle. The new girl asked Michelle if she was having a boy or a girl!! HOLY CRAP!! I about fell over. Now Michelle is not overweight by ANY means. She has a litle roll like me! But she by NO means LOOKS pregnant. Nor would I consider even saying something like that to her or to any one I just met!!Holy Toledo!!Apparently Michelle was quite upset about it, that made me really sad!!

Anyway - the rest of the afternoon, was pretty uneventful (the new girl was not there today!) but it was pretty slow like I said. I did another layout. This time one of Carl and I at my sis wedding, Carl is in his kilt, so I did a valentine page.
That's the best part of my job is we get to play most of the time! Oh and the new Doodlebug lines came out!
Isn't it CUTE! The one I really can't wait for is the Sweetwater line!I will scan it when I get some in!

Oh I did take my book in today,so everyone could see it, it was fun to show it off!!
Oh and the closing part was all good, we even got out at a normal time. The only part we had trouble with was getting the door secured when we left, I had to set the timer and then we have 30 secs to get out. It was a good thing I remembered my keys today!

I have been feeling content this weekend. It's nice. It's a good feeling.
This morning is quiet and I don't have to go in until noon. I am filling in for someone today. Carl however, is home sick with food poisioning. He is still in bed. Poor guy.He was up most of the night last night - so it was easy to convince him to stay home. He doesn't normally. It's very hard to get him to stay home when he is sick.
I have started to organize the office again. I started before Thanksgiving and then didn't do anything over the holidays. Now I have my blog fixed for the most part.
It should be interesting at work. I get to close with Sara. Sara is cute, but she just came back from school, it's been a while since she has closed and I have only done it a few times.(since I normally work in the morning). Counting the drawers and doing the deposits scare me. It's been very slow at work, so hopefully we can get out of the before 8pm.

Ok so I am trying to recover - lol! I don't think it was anything I did - my banner is all wierd and it wasn't that way before, I just added new pictures.I even checked my original size. WIERD! When I went to check the template the whole bottom half was missing. Now that's wierd!
Anyway - I am not entirely convinced I like blogger. So if any one has any input of an easier server let me know, otherwise I'll grin and bear it.
Dang well the good news is Seattle!! WAHOOO!! YEAH For the Seahawks! I am so excited they are going to the SuperBowl, not just because I served my mission in the area. (outside of Seattle). Not because Mike Holmgren (former Packers coach) Green Bay gave up a good thing!! Not because Matt Hassleback is a great quarter back.
I just like Seattle Seahawks! LOL!

Ok don't ask me what happened. I was adding stuff last night and then this morning, when I logged on, it was all gone! My whole blog was blank! I tried to recover it and couldn't. OY!!So Forgive me for having to fix it again!

is a special day.. It's the day we get ready for Sunday... I hated that primary song! LOL! I fought off a sinus migrane. I get migranes but they usually start with the congestion and sinus pressure and escalate from there. I took a sudafed because I knew we had a TON to do today. It got worse as the morning went on, but I refused to give into it. So we stopped and got a soda and I took Exedrin Tension headache, it actually worked.



We started to look at the apartments we had on our list. One of them I wasn't really impressed with. Carl liked it because he had been there before. It's a little bigger than we are now, and only $100 more a month.It did have a few more nice features, but I didn't care for the club house, it smelled VERY smokey to me. The 2nd one, which I was really looking forward to, was not what I hoped either. They are SO cute on the outside, and the girl was super nice, we sat down to talk about the rooms and she asked us how many pets we had. They only allow 1pet. Even if they are small. They wouldn't make an exception to two. At least she was honest and let us know up front. She was all excited to show us the apartment but didn't want to get our hopes up if we weren't willing to get rid of another dog. I don't think we could if we wanted to.
They were super cute on the outside, they are sort of apartment/townhouse look to them. The grounds were very well kept, and the pool was very nice and heated in the winter! (even in AZ that's a plus!). They had ones that had a garage beneath them. For $150 more than what we are paying now. But we didn't want to see the inside either. With the pet issue. I was totally bumbed.
If we are going to move, I want to move to upgrade. I don't want to settle. Since we aren't going to get a house for while, I would like something a little nicer. And newer too. I told Carl that I want one that has applainces that not been there since either of us were born! The first ones we looked at the appliances were VERY old.I didn't like that.


I felt better later on in the afternoon, but I did not have very much success clothes shopping either. It is VERY hard for me to find clothes, because I am so short. I am only 4'11. Not quite even petite. Sometimes I can find capris in the jr.s section that are the right length for regular jeans! (DON'T LAUGH!lol!). No luck today! Maybe next week.


Carl did make an excellent dinner, so that sort of made up for my sort of crappy day. He grilled steaks, after marinating them in Italian dressing and seasonings. They were excellent. We are going out for Rootbeer floats in a bit.

The one night I don't check my mail - it comes.
I am THRILLED! This is My nephew Britton and his dog Dozer. The picture isn't so good, I ran out of batteries, so I have to go get some more tonight. But here is my layout in print!! Oh it's on page 47! The book is very nice - it's a heavier book than most idea books. I am soo EXCITED! I'll post what it says a little later!

It was just a DAY today. Nothing crazy today! I actually got to play at work today! That was NICE!! I am sooo looking forward to the weekend! We are doing a little shopping, then we have a couple of apartments to look at. We drove through one tonight, just before sunset and we really like it, we want to see how big it is inside.


Ok I HATE my blog font so I need to change it. Something about this is just not working for me. I will have to play with it tonight, since I am not in a scrapping mood, Probably because I did it all day at work today! LOL!

Oh I did get a sneak peak at some of the stuff the store is ordering at the show (CHA a scrapbooking convention) this next week. It's SOO CUTE! I am Totally LOVIN the new Bo Bunny lines, especially the pet and beach themes! Teresa always shows me the pet stuff first! I LOVE it. That's one of the perks I LOVE about my job! I hope they order tons of stuff. I am so in the need of new papers. I don't care so much about the little stuff but I am a paper addict!

So today we were supposed to have a staff meeting - I don't think anybody was in the mood to have a staff meeting. So it got cancelled and I was REALLy glad, cause I wasn't in the mood to put in a 10 hr day!Even though I took a lunch in.
I did a REALLy cute medical layout. I did one of a picture of my lemonade party from Primary Childrens Hospital. I had open heart surgery when I was five -which made me a "Cardiac Kid", they had these "lemonade parties" for the patients. We would dress up in drs scrubs. I can't remember much of them, except for the lemonade and cookies and the cute little books we got with them.Here is a picture. This was 1977! I'll see if I can get a copy of the layout. Can you guess which one is me?!LOL!


Ok the other wierd thing that happened - I got home and when I went to check the mail (still anxiously awaiting my book!) I noticed the package slip in the mail box, I got all excited but it was a package from Carls dad instead. Inside was a magazine. The Oregon Coast with a picture of Yachats, Oregon. Most of the magazine is about the little town. Oh and about the lighthouse Yaquina Head. Our home away from home. For those of you who don't know, my parents bought a vacation home there back in the early 1990's (sorry I can't remember the year!). The winter of 2002, our family was in termoil and the house was sold. However my brother Michael and his family moved to Waldport, (the next town above Yachats, Oregon!). It is a place we call home and a place that is near and dear to our heart. Hopefully one day soon, my parents will be able to rebuild up there and we can continue to bring our families up there and continue the traditions. I have even taken Carls family up there for a summer vacation and it has been a wonderful place for them. I miss it terribly! Today was COLD! We are in freeze warning again tonight!


Today - we've decided to start looking for a new apartment! Something bigger and something newer! Saturday we will start hunting, we have to be in something before we go to Sweden! A house unfortunately is not feesible for us right now!


Today - I discovered KFC chicken bowls are VERY YUMMY!



Today - the dogs left a present right in front of the bedroom door, right AFTER Carl had taken them out for the morning walk!! Pure retaliation or something I am sure, we just can't fiqure out what! They haven't done that since we first moved in! They did it alot when we first moved with all the adjustments. we haven't had any accidents! I don't know what today was about!


Today - and last night I have had terrible icecream and chocolate cravings being on PMS! OHY! (now the whole world knows!) lol! We are stopping at Dairy Queen on the way back from picking up Christy and Anita at the airport!

I am in shock! Both Indy and the Patriots are out - done -PHEWY! Wheres a crying smilie when you need you one! What happened to the NFL!?! Oh I am so sad!Seattle you are my ONLY HOPE! I will get over my shock and blog more later - for now I will go cry in my beer - or my coke!

LOL! That's not really what I'm blogging about but that is currently on my mind! (Although I do love the book Much Ado About Nothing Shakespeare - and the movie!) LOL! I don't want to cook - and Carl doesn't want to go out.

The mail man doesn't come tilll almost 6:30 or 7. Helen at the office told me that they are having a bunch of layoffs. I am trying to be sooo patient about my book, I am anxious to see it in writting!!

I am in the process of redoing the blog as you can tell. I like my penguin and I am not sure about the rest, but I am still playing with it. I would like to add more fun things to it. It's kinda boring. To bad this thing doesn't do good photo album type things. I am sure I can fiqure out how to add one.

Oh I soo Need to keep driving! The bus was standing room only today. Fortunately I get on almost at the beginning of the route, so I pick the back of the bus, so I don't have to move and I am out of the way. But lately even the back is full. Today the one bus we were on, we had to switch and get on another bus. The bus driver never did say why! Probably too many people!

I have started putting my resume out there again. Carl has taught me how to do cover letters. I would like to find something closer to home.
I have some cards almost done for ebay. I am going to do packs. I will start with my Valentine Packs and see how it goes.

Lately I have found Buster sleeping in the weirdest places. He buries his head too. He is wrapped up in my winter coat (yes I still have one here!).
today, yesterday I found him on top of the couch. Usually that's Bilko's spot, but yesterday Buster was there and stayed there. He doesn't jump!
Carl said he used to do it all the time! I called him at work to tell him! LOL!

Ok so can you tell I am just aimlessly rambling on about nothing!

I have come to the decision that I am going to be HAPPY! No more stress.
No more constant worry. Theres no need. We did that last year!
It's a new year. Things are looking up.We don't have kids, we don't have a house, we have good jobs. We have good dogs (for the most part!).
I was upset over the weekend about a couple of things. First my boss. The schedules have been changed again. They usually do when the college girls all go back to school and we are back to one or two people during the day. Well that was all fine, except my hours were cut.
Megan used to work for us, she got another job, but that job didn't work out. She came in on Friday. Robyn told her she could have her job back if she wanted it. Well she gave her a 9-5 and the display person job. Which means she is in charge of making the displays look pretty and putting out new stuff. HELLO - what am I chopped liver?! Its great that she wanted to hire more help, so I am looking at the schedule on friday and noticed she moved my hours back 9-3. I have been working 9-6 since Halloween.
For the most part. We've been busy enough that we have needed it. I was more upset that she had adjusted it without at least letting me know. I didn't know for sure that she had hired Megan back which is fine it would have been nice to know for sure if we had extra help. We've been needing it. Especially during the day.
Anyway - I'm over that part of it. Mostly because I have decide it's nice to be able to come home early. It was nice to have the extra paychecks especially through the holidays and get ahead on bills. Now that we have some sort of cushion, it's nice to come home and be home.
The other part of it is, My SIL Christy. While I am glad that she was able to go to Salt Lake. Well I guess she was reorganizing her parents apartment and threw away a LOT of their old stuff. Which needed to happen. Well, we had left some boxes there because we didn't have room for them when we moved. She threw out Carls mission stuff!!. She swore it wasn't letters. I have no idea how much of it is left! GRRR!!!

I have had too many health crisisis this last year. I don't want to go to the doctors ANYMORE. I am slowly getting my voice back. It's been almost a week. It's getting better and my cough is getting better. I can feel it breaking up in my chest or trying to. Bilko still barks at me every time I cough - especially at night.
WHEW! It's a long one tonight - sorry folks. I stress free and plan to stay that way.
OHH My book is out. You can get it at Barnes and Noble.I can see it on line, but I haven't seen my layout or the book yet, I am soo tempted to go down and sneek a peek!!

We started early this morning. I was feeling much better. Just blowin my nose a lot still and the cough. But my voice is gaining strength. I couldn't talk at all yesterday.
We won't talk about yesterday! We will just pretend like yesterday NEVER happened. The only good thing that came out of yesterday was my good friend Kerry stopped by! Kerry I hope my email works now!! LOL! I also won't talk about how MAD I am at Robyn. (and its not for inventory!) I love her to death, but I have a bone to pick with her on Monday!
Anyway - back to today - it was GORGEOUS! One would think it was Spring! It's the 1st week in January and we have 80 + degree weather. Carl wanted to put shorts on but we couldn't find them.
We did most of our errands in the morning. I bought a new shower curtian and liner for the bathroom.I have never had both before. Usually just a liner. It's a blue plaid to match our towels. I LOVE it! Now I just need to find something to hang on the wall. Now it's not so boring.
We redid the living and lowered our bed. We have a mission style bed and it has different levels. The only problem we forsee is, now Bilko can jump on it. Buster still can not, he could not jump on a foot stool if he wanted to. LOL. (no offense Buster!) We'll decide in the next day or two whether or not Bilko being able to jump on the bed is a good thing or not.
The living room looks awsome. We moved the couch and the tv. We backed it agains the fire place. The fire place is just built into the wall, with tile around and we haven't used it since we moved in. So we put the couch there. We were amazed at how much more room we have so we brought the coffee table back out! It's much better and feels more homey.
I debating if I want curtains. We have the apartment blinds right now.
I even got my hair cut today. Maybe I'll have Christy take a picture of us tomorrow. It's to my ears, like I had it last summer. I didn't like the guy who did it, but he did a good job. You can see my highlights a l ot more.
I made lasagne for Sunday dinner tomorrow at Ben and Ingers. Julie is going to make her yummy garlic cheese bread and a pasta salad.
The only thing I didn't get done is my cards. I started some last night but maybe tomorrow. I found some cute Valentine stuff at Target.

Unfortunately that would be me! It started on Monday with just my nose and a little cough. I could deal with that. But this morning I woke up and it was in my chest. I went back to bed. Not planning on going in to work today.
We are doing inventory still, I knew we f inished all the scanning and counting last night. So I thought it wouldn't be a problem if they missed me. So I took a pm cold and went back to bed. At 10am the phone rang, it was Robyn. I told her I would come in a little later if I felt better. As I am coughing and weezing on the phone, and Bilko is barking at me! She said no one had showed up yet. She said she had tried to call everyone but either they wouldn't answer the phone or had another excuse. She said she was upset and so was Teresa that nobody really helped out this year. Before we've stayed till the cows came home. This year everyone seems burned out.
I told her I would get there as soon as I could, I got dressed and took the 10:23 bus. I was there just after 11. When I got there EVERYONE was there. Except Michelle and older Kristy. I was LIVID! Even little Kristie, Bethanie, and Melissa, (who Robyn said she couldn't get a hold of!!) I was REALLY mad. She made such a fuss over it, and everyone was there by the time I got there. And everyone stayed.
.Robyn kinda didn't say much to me at first. I was tryin hard not to be mad but I felt like Crap and was coughing. Mostly just hurt in my chest.
I rearranged the sticker wall. They were rearranging a few things and straightening up. We moved a few sections, so we had more room. It did look better in the end.
I told Bethanie and Kimber its their fault I was sick. They started it and passed it around! LOL! Kimber said it was Robyn, which is probably really true, she was sick when we went to Sedona. I just happen to be the last one to get it.
They took it to us to lunch at this place we like by work. The Streets of New York. That sorta made up for it. I was okay after that. I felt a little better after lunch too. But I sound TERRIBLE!
We did get the Christmas stuff down finally this evening! Buster is a happy camper, he has reclaimed his place on the tile in front of the fireplace!

I have kept it secret for many months now, that I am being published in a Memory Makers Idea book, not a magazine an Idea Book!! I got the call back in March or April! It might have even been earlier than that! I got an email today from MM stating the release date of the book is this Friday!! I still can't post the layout until the book is released! I get a copy of the book. I also get 10 copies at half price so if you want one let me know. I have 3 already spoken for. All I can say is it's a layout of a picture I did of my nephew Britton and his dog Dozer ( a bull mastif!)! Oh the book is called Pet Pages Unleashed. I don't know if I had mentioned that in all my excitement!

Oh I hate this part. Actually it wasn't as bad as I thought it to be at first. When I got there at 8:30 Robyn and Teresa were the only ones there and I was shocked. Last year, there were tons there by 7or 8 am! Nobody showed up till about 9:30-10am. They slowly trickled in. By noon everyone was there.
But the counting process was actually going quit quickly. We had a scale to do the paper, but we just had to watch the weight amounts. The dreaded part is tomorrow, the sticker rolls. I think that's all we have left before we start scanning.
Carl and I went to lunch at the same place that my friend Jenni took me to on Thur. A mexican place called Nando's. It's better than Sarono's at about the same as Garcia's. Carl was off today, lucky for him!
Still debating on wether or not to get my hair cut!

I started a Penguin collection a few years ago, mom would give me stuff with Penguins on it. I still collect my lighthouse stuff, just not as much. I am finding all kinds of cute penguin stuff! I am so glad my little animated penguin worked in my profile! WAHOO! What do you think?!

On other thoughts. I can't decide if I should cut my hair. again. I hate that dilema! But with the new year I thought it would help. It's long, past my shoulders now, but I have SOO much of it,it takes forever to blow it dry. Carl likes it long, but not really long. He liked the length when I had it just below my ears. He told me I should highlight it again he liked the highlights. So I might do that. We'll see. Maybe I'll get off early tomorrow since we are doing inventory and I can work till whenever, and then go get it cut!

Christmas is almost down! Just the tree and the stuff on it, but I want to find something to put it in. The box fell apart last year. I would like to get those big binns like for wrapping paper. the branches fold up, so I can squish it if I needed to.

I have spent all day on the computer and it's been SOO nice! I haven't done that in FOREVER! LOL!

WOW! It's another year! I am really glad! I am feelin pretty good about the new year already!I am feeling better physically today than I have in a long time. I needed sleep. I got most of it this weekend.I took a sudafed this morning and I am feeling lots better!
We have a lot to look forward to this year - but most of all the cruise to Sweden in May. We just need to SAVE SAVE SAVE!
I am going to start selling stuff on E bay. Mostly scrapbook stuff. I am going to start making cards and kits.


GOALS -
1. to be more spiritual, read the Scriptures specifically the BOM ( I failed miserabley last year!).
2.DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!
3. Sell my creations.
4. SAVE SAVE SAVE
5. Be Healthier -loose about 10lbs, feel better, drink more water less soda and take vitamins!
6. Cook and bake healthier!
