It was a do nothing kinda day for me and it was soooo nice!! We went to breakfast at the Golden Corral with Carl's parents. It was okay. Typical buffet style stuff. Although the cinnamon roles were pretty tasty.
I was wishful thinking that the apartments were actually going to come fix our bathrooms today. When Carl called to find out what happened to them, the new girl first said "oh I told your wife they wouldn't be there FIRST thing in the morning - just in the morning?!!!" Oh that pissed me off!! Then she comes back and tells him oh "I didn't know they didn't work on Saturday - I'm new here, Judy just informed me!!!" She was really snotty about it like she did nothing wrong. Carl wouldn't let me call and speak to Judy! LOL! He hid the phone from me!

Then he and Herb had free tickets to the DiamondBack game so they went to that around 1pm.
I just stayed here. I gave Bilko a bath and read my book and did my first digital layout that I have done in probably 6mos or more. So maybe I'll start scraping again. We'll see.

Tonight, I've been watching, Madagascar, Narnia, and Incredibles. Flipping channels. Reading my book some more and playing on the computer. Carl is at Priesthood. He went with Bryce and Kevin and then they were going to grab something to eat after. I am glad he went. I hope he has a good time.

Oh I have brownies in the oven for later! Yeah! And nothing to do tomorrow too!!

today went by really fast!! Carl came home a picked up for me. And started dinner. He made a really good stir fry, except I did mine with Ramen noodles and chicken and mushrooms and he did his with rice. I really like the Ramen noodles. Then we finished it off with vanilla icecream. It seemed to be a good comfort food.

I have been looking for decorating ideas. Maybe I can come up with a project for the weekend. We have Confrence weekend this weekend, which means no church, we just watch the broadcasts from Salt Lake on BYU tv. I can't remember what the channel down here is called (we don't get BYU tv with this cable company).

My mom is coming down in November. I am looking forward to it. It will be nice to have just her and Gabe. I would like to have them both down here. Maybe it's still be warm enough, Gabe can swim! He will love having the pool right here.

Chris and Michelle will be here as well, so that will be nice. They were here for a day or two when they ran the Rock N Roll Marathon but they weren't here very long. We would love to have more people come down and stay. Just pray we get house, so we can have an extra room to put everybody!!

It's Wed! It's almost Friday! It's been fairly slow at work. I am going through books like crazy. I am going to need another series here pretty soon. Fortunately reading is not an expensive hobby.It occupies my brain and it makes it easy to relax. But now I need something to keep my hands busy. I've been so antsy lately. Calm one minute and the antsy and edgy the next. I don't know why. Maybe because my sleep patterns are off again. This schedule is going to drive me insane!! I don't want to complain. I am trying really hard not to. I just can't convince myself I like this job.
Carl and I have talked about what we need to do to get a house and the possiblities of having kids. And all that SCARES me to death. It's a nice thought for half a second. Especially the having kids part. I guess it does everybody at some point.

My mood is a little better today. I slept better last night and that helped. Work FLEW by today and that helped too. It was wierd though, we were busy until about 2pm like we normally are, then it slows down about 3-6 about the the time I go to lunch. Then I got on a really long call with a lady and didn't get my break till 7pm. I go home at 730. We had calls till I went home. It was totally bizarre. Fortunately really short stuff, so none of us got stuck. I hate that we can't actually log off till they release us. We can't even sit in after call - which means if we get a call at 7:25 we're screwed.

It got hot all of a sudden, we're back up in the 100's again. I don't know what happened there. It was just starting to feel like fall. I hope it doesn't last very long. I am ready for fall.

OH I WON fantasy football this week!!!! By 5 pts!! I was ahead 101 -35 yesterday, but the person I played had some Saints on his team, so he got lucky that they won tonight. I was quite suprised about that one.

My mood has been rather BLAH lately. I was spittin mad friday night, because Carl picked up Janet again. I had other ideas for the weekend, and that wasn't going to happen, not to mention the fact, being sick, having pms and the rash. Yeah, needless to say I was NOT a happy camper on Friday. I don't get mad often but when I'm mad, I'm really mad, like I told Carl not just a litte bit mad alot mad! LOL! Anyway - you get the idea. We don't fight very much either, but I was sure mad at him on Friday night, and I stayed mad. I'm not so mad anymore, just more agitated. Did I mention, that I got volunteered to cook dinner for the cousins, us, christy and Janet and us tonight? Meatloaf. I do make a really good meatloaf, but I don't know how to make it for that many people.
I just made it, and it's sitting in the fridge for later, so we'll see.
I hope my mood is just because last week was stressful and being sick.

Anyway - on a more positive note, Green Bay did win today - and my fantasy team is looking okay too. I might win that.

Yesterday I wasn't feelin so hot. I have developed these 'bites' on my legs. At first they were just mosquito bites or so I thought. Well, it turned it to this rash and the bumps got bigger and more of them on both feet, but more so on my left leg. and ITCHES!! Then I had started to get a sinus headache. So I called the dr and was able to get in yesterday instead of today.
I got in at 2pm. I didn't see the dr until after 3pm! I really like this dr but dang he's hard to get into. Anyway - the rash/bumps/bites, they aren't sure what to call them, but they are infected!
So he put me on steriods and I have a sinus infection AGAIN! So Carl came and picked me up
from the dr's office. I felt bad because he got off work early. But I didn't feel so good. Then I came home and went to bed.

I am feeling better this morning, just a little groggy. But I am planning on going to work today.
My plant is doing quite well. I might need a bigger pot for it soon. The weather has been lovely.
It's only around 93 during the day! It's starting to really cool off. I am ready for the weekend already. At least it's been a fast moving week. Sort of! LOL!

It's a so so day. Busy Busy at work. It makes the day go by faster though. I am more more and more comfortable so that's okay. I suppose.
Oh in my frustrations yesterday (forgive me), I forgot to mention the funny part of my primary class. I have really grown to love being in Primary and really getting attatched to the kids and I think they are getting attatched to me. The girls talked me into sitting outside, because the temp outside was BEAUTIFUL and inside it was FREEZING. Marni had to go to the Marriage class for a bit and then was coming back, so I had Molly leave her a note. It was a good lesson about the Priesthood and Priesthood Blessings. About Elijah the prophet. Very cool old testament story. Anyway, the kids loved talking about their experiences. As we were leaving, Colton was kinda playin around with Quinn, so I was teasing him and shoo'd him (waving him away with my hand) so he hid in a little part of the wall. I said "colton, what are you doing?" he said you shoo'd me and laughed, like he was being silly. It was funny.

I accidently shoo'd my boss today too. This evening he asked me if I was on a call, I meant to tell him, to just give me a sec, cause I was almost done. I shoo'd him! LOL! Then I missed a meeting last week ( I wasn't the only so I didn't feel so bad). Then he wanted to talk about what they had discussed with me and the HR lady, so we started walking to the back room. He was way ahead of me and stopped. He said "I'm sorry I just walk fast sometimes" I said "it's okay I'm just shorter than you, so it takes me longer!" he laughed he thought that was pretty funny! Then when we got there, he realized that I had missed the original meeting so he couldn't tell me anything. He told me it was okay since others had missed it too. I said ok "so I can still sleep tonight!" he said I had nothing to worry about. The changes they are talking about in the meeting are good changes that are happening to the groups depts, but he can't tell me till we go to the meeting.

Well, the weekend was far too short. Dont ya hate that?! It needs to be one day longer.
Yesterday Carl picked up Janet around 2pm. She stayed with us last night. We just went to dinner and then came home and watched movies. I can not just sit and watch t.v. I never have been able to. I feel bad sometimes, because I spend all my time on the computer. I soo need a new hobby. I know it's hard because it's hard to spend time with Carl when I'm in here and he's in there. I try to sit in there for alittle while.

I am trying really hard not to be frustrated with my SIL (that lives here). She broke her foot on Thurs. It's so swollen they couldn't tell for the first few days that it was broken or where she broke it. For some strange reason, they had this trip planned to Vegas (for one of the cousins that lives in Salt Lakes) birthday. It's a half way point, so Ben and inger and their kids were going to drive to Vegas to meet Julie. Herb was going and Christy decided to go along. She breaks her foot, they tell her to stay off it, for a few days. They put her in a soft case. Anyway. She still decides she's going to Vegas. They can rent her a wheel chair when they get there! What the flip!! Anyway - Janet comes down because she was supposed to be dog sitting for Peanut (christys dog) not because she was in Vegas, but because she was supposed to be house sitting for some friends. Didn't do it, for whatever reason. Janets still made the plans to be here. But Christy just pulled back in to town and Alexis met us at the apartment to let us in so we could drop Janet off! Alexis was with her dad all weekend!! I DON'T GET IT!
The Packers lose again today. I was way ahead in my fantasy team. Carl and I were playing each other. He was down by 30 pts!! He came back and beat me by 3! I got more points off Green Bay loosing than I did off Seattle winning!! How does that happen?! Someone please explain this all to me, before I beat my head against the wall!!

Ok vent over. I think! LOL!

We spent the morning running errands and getting the house cleaned. I almost forgot as we were headed out the door, there was a cop car right in front of our parking space. We had enough room to get out. He was there because the car behind us in the guest parking had all four tires striped and being held up by rocks! I was SHOCKED!!How could someone have stolen all FOUR tires from One car! In the middle of the night. I was up till 2am last night being restless, but I didn't hear anything!!

Janet (carls mom) will be here later this afternoon, from SLC. She is staying with us tonight and the with Christy the rest of the week.

We got the spare bed set up, the dogs really
seem to have adopted it! But now, we have a bed, so if anyone needs a place to stay we have a little more room!

I bought a plant last week it's still alive!! I don't have a green thumb like my mom, my sister and my brother. It's small, I have it out on the backpatio, but I transfered it too a bigger pot this afternoon and bought potting soil and everything, like my mom had showed me, when we did our planters in Salt Lake. Maybe when it gets cooler, I'll do flower beds, for the patio.
It's only in the 90's right now. It's absolutely beautiful!! here are some pics. I will post a bit more later, I am not sure what we are doing this evening, probably dinner somewhere and then at home watching movies.

I know there I go changing the blog again. I wanna get in the mood for fall. It's my second favorite time of year, followed closely by spring! ha ha!

It's been busy. Work is getting better everday. Yesterday we had calls, almost till the time it was to go home. Carl went to Tuscon yeseterday with the Court, to check out things for their oral arguements which happen down there in Oct. That one is an overnighter and he's going since he's baliffing for that one. He's got such a great job and wonderful wonderful people. I hope he stays there forever. Well okay as long as he's happy. (shouldn't be too much of problem)
I am adjusting to mine. I am more comfortable every day.

We are trying to plan a camping trip for the first weekend in Oct. I talked to Luis tonight to see if I could get it off. I will have to take it as an occurance (we get 8, I only have 1). I am a week shy of my 90 days! Is that crazy or what! Can't believe I've been there that long!

Oh yea and the best news of the day! DiNG Dong the crickets dead!! I found him. He was in the ceiling fan. I sprayed up there and he was gone, haven't heard him since. We slept much better last night!!

It is nice to have the early meetings. I feel bad that Carl didn't get to sleep in at all this weekend, being as he had meetings and he took the car in for mileage maintance yesterday.

It was disheartening to follow the Packers. I still have hope, so don't kill it for me yet! LOL! I hope they can pull it out in the season. It has to be VERY VERY frustrating for Bret Favre.

As you can see, I have changed my blog. I did so for 9/11. That was on a Tuesday I believe. We arrived Saturday, to drop Kait off at JFK, she was leaving for Africa. It was frightening and shocking to be there and amongst all the tragedy. The picture above was taken from the Staten Island Ferry that we took the next day. It was stunning. The bright light you see is where the Two Towers stood, there was a spotlight for the workers. The ones you would see on the news. Tomorrow I will post more of our WallStreet pictures and city pictures. It was something to witness. I can remember watching the big truck full of metal and debris going up the street. The sirens were still going every few minutes. The smell was still pretty thick in the air. I'll never forget it. It's still unreal that we were there the day they opened the subway system. We took it down and at a resturaunt Jackle and Hyde. not far from St. Ann's hospital, where they were taking many people. We would see motorcades of black cars going up the streets followed by sirens and wondering, what what or who they were. The dust had still covered the ground and utility workers were still trying to get power back on to some parts.

with Kait going it was nerve racking most especially for my mom. Tomorrow, I will post a few more of the pictures.

Today has been nice! We ran to Costco this morning for the basics, we actually filled up with gas for $2.43a gallon! Holy Moly! We normally are pickey and get Cheveron, but we decided to do it at Costco while we were there.

It was raining by the time we got home, but quit as soon as we got stuff in the house. Ya know its funny it starts to rain, so they put out National Flood Watch for Maricopa County! It stops raining as soon as it announces it! LOL! It cracks me up. The last couple of storms have been like that, they blow out as fast as they blow in. But it is nice because I think we only got to 85 today and it hasn't been that since April!

I did get to catch the BYU/Tulsa game, but I had to listen to it, Carl put on the laptop for me. They pulled the teams off the field in Provo due to lightening in the 4th quarter. But it was okay because BYU was up 42-10! Then this evening we watched the ASU/Neveda game. Then Holly and Zane came over and brought and extra twin bed. Now it's the office. Theres still a ton of room in here, since we emptied it. But now we have an extra bed, so ya all can come stay now!!
Although I think you might have to fight Bilko for it. He seems to think we put it there for him. He hasn't moved since we got it. I asked him if he wanted me to get him a blanket and pillow and his ears perked up! HA HA! Jokes on him!!

The cricket is still hanging around but he's not as obnoxious as he was, so I wonder if he's dying out somewhere. He's probably stuck somewhere. Even Holly and Zane weren't sure how to get rid of him. Oh dear, I think we are stuck with him for good. I don't know how ya all fall asleep to the sound of crickets! LoL!

That darn cricket. I haven't slept hardley in two days. I think Carl did last night, just because he took Benedryl. I did to, but the darn cricket started up again about 2am.UGGH!I have ruled out that he's under the bed and along the wall, not only did I vaccum but I went in with a flashlight.
I did the vaccum and spraying but no luck. He's not as loud as he was, and he stops for a bit when I come in the room and turn the light on!! It's driving me crazy!!

Work was okay until the last half hour. I got a call at 7:20. It should have been an FIT call, but I got it. It was a lady starting from scratch booking 23 people. I had to have her start a whole new agency sheet, to get her started up before I even started assigning stuff to her. (the easy way to explain it). The hardest part was there were 4 familys of 4. I got it done, but I didn't get out of there until 8:15pm!! 45min of overtime yipee! I'm excited can't you tell. She was very cool and really appreciated that I stayed with her. Luis had to stay with me, I felt bad, but I got it all done and he was REALLY cool, he knew the lady was just takin her sweet time, giving me names and stuff. Drove me nuts! LOL!

Thank heavens tomorrow is FRIDAY!

So since Monday we've had this cricket, somewhere in the vacinity of the bedroom window. It would stop for a while, then start up again. I was praying for the cricket that he was on the outside! Buster (my older dog) decided he couldn't sleep either and decided to make just as much noise as the cricket!Maybe he was trying to find the cricket himself! LOL! Or I think they were having a competition! He was into EVERYTHING! at 1am ! Tonight, I finally sprayed bug spray around the window inside and out. It worked for the cricket! I haven't heard him in about an hour.

Now, maybe Buster will sleep and the rest of us will sleep! Now I have all the candles lit to get the bug spray smell gone! OY!! Have you ever tried to get rid of a cricket?! The dog, will go to sleep eventually, but I don't know if crickets sleep!

So that was last night, I hope we can get some sleep tonight. Work is getting a little better. I am feeling a little more comfortable. I just don't like getting home so late. Have dinner, relax for a half hour or so, watch the news and go to bed! Carl went to a football game with Sue and her kids. Jarrott plays for Stapley. I wanted to go, but I don't get home till 7:30. But it sounds like I might only have to do this till Oct when the new class comes in. Keep your fingers crossed!

It's so wierd to have a day off - and a day off to get paid!! That's the best part! I don't think I've EVER had one of those! Even at Bayer I didn't work enough hours to get the holidays paid!WOW!

We plan on doing nothing today, except run to Petsmart and maybe look at some model homes, but then Carl wants to come home and watch movies all day, since he didn't get to on Saturday.

We'll BBQUE later this evening. It's starting to be that perfect time of year for Arizona. It's in the 90's for the high!And we're still getting evening storms. I think we've had a rather successful Monsoon year.

Last night we went to Ben and Ingers for Ben's bday. He wanted a Turkey dinner. It actually worked out, because everyone will be gone for Thanksgiving so it was Thanksgiving REALLY early!LOL! I made my yams and Christy did her green bean thing. I even had some although I am not a green been casserole fan or green bean fan for that matter!Do you eat your veggies?!
I do for the most part. Just not greenbeans, or asparagus! I know people are always shocked when I tell them I don't like asparagus! But I do like Artichockes!

Man, it's hard to update the blog on this schedule. I will try to get better at it! I have so been looking forward to this weekend. This week kinda sucked. But we have no plans this weekend, except football, football, and more football.

Although today, I seemed to have this energy that came out of no where. Last night we got crazy and bought me a new computer hard drive. It was $550 computer and we ended up paying $475 for it. We got $100 up front off, then we have about $150 worth of rebates, to pay it off. It has a dvd writer and a spot for the memory cards in the front, not to mention 2USB outlets in the front and three in the back. And enough hard drive space to load photoshop and my graphic programs without slowing it down!! YEAH!!! And we don't have any payments on it.
CompUSA had awsome sale that went till midnight last night. I am using my old monitor, I may get a flat screen with part of my next check. They have come down in price A LOT is was suprised. So Carl spent most of last night getting it hooked up, while I cleaned out both closets in the spare room and in the bedroom.

This morning I am redoing the office. Christy is bringing my desk back, (long story as to why we let her borrow it) but now I have a shelf again! So I can organize my baskets. We have these two white bookshelves, that I am going to refinish this weekend. So that will be fun. I don't know how I am going to paint them or varnish them yet. I haven't decided, but I will try to post pictures on a little later.
