Awsome Banana Bread (minus the nuts)
This is what I've been doing with my time off, baking and organizing and if anyone calls me a homemaker I'll slap them! Just Kidding! Just don't call me that!
In some ways it is nice having all this time on my hands. So far I've organized the guest room - it's very comfortable now, for those who want to come stay. I've also organized the pantry twice. It's a hard one to maintain. My next goal is the master bedroom closet. Carl wants to re do it. Keep in mind I'm doing all this still draggin an oxygen cord around getting it caught on things like shoes, dog bowls, the big concentrater that comes with it, the dogs. The dogs seem to find the cord a nuisance but they aren't a lone in that department! I am just happy the cord reaches outside and as far as the pool and the trash can!
Oh yea I was gonna post my Banana Bread recipe. I found this one of my food blogs. It's a great recipe if want to add nuts you can, I can't eat them so I don't add them, but this recipe was very moist and really good. Don't let it cook too long.
Banana Bread (nuts optional)
1 1/2 C flour
1tsp baking soad
1 C white sugar
2 eggs lightly beaten
3 bananas (the more brown spots the better and the more moist the bread)
1/4 c butter melted
directions: wisk flour, soda, salt, sugar. Mix in slightly beaten eggs. Mash bananas and add to mix. (I did this in a processer/blender and it did just fine) stir in melted butter. Add to well greased pan or nonstick pan. Bake for about 40-45 until golden brown on top, be careful it will burn if cooked to long.
