when it rains it pours!

That's the understatement of the week!We watched this storm come in sitting out on the backpatio. That pinkish, bluish cloud didn't look very friendly. In fact it looked down right scarey! We watched it come closer and the winds picked up. We lost cable and the internet, but we didn't loose power. We fully expected to. The BBQUE was actually moved several inches on the patio from the wind!! We ran out to tie things down and were soaked in a matter of seconds! It was pretty incredible to watch. We are reported at 3" of rain overnight. There's still more coming. We've been hoping and praying for rain. You'd think we'd know better by now! The monsoons are pretty spectacular here and last night was NO exception.

The only trouble we have is the dogs. Or should I say the dogs have trouble. We have to give them benedryl so they can get through the night. Poor Bilko ends up on top of Carls head most of the night.

This morning the street looks like a tornado blew threw here. I would be okay if I don't ever have to experience one of those. They are reporting the winds last night at 50mph!! Yes that's not a typo. It was much better than the 'weak' storm we got for the 4th. It's kinda funny those clouds on the 4th looked like they can do some damage but they didn't. It's too hot. But now it's HUMID (87%) comfortable 95*!!
