Before And After
So yesterday I painted the kitchen. I've been itchin' to do it for a while now. It felt like a cave and I've hated the sponging technique they did on it. So I primed it in the afternoon, went swimming had dinner and played games with the cousins then came back and painted the rest. It really only took me about two hours each time. The only thing I noticed is that when I took off the painters tape (as you can see above my ugly cabinets) that it removed some of the finish on the cabinets!! I don't think painters tape is supposed to do that!!? I suppose on the upside I HATE the cabinets anyway! So that just means sometime down the road I'll get new ones! I just have to finish decorating it. The walls look bare now. I am doing it in yellow and red accents.
