Buster - Sept 1996-Jan2008
A Good & Faithful Friend After a long and scary night, we took Buster back to the vet this morning and at 3:15 pm he was comfortably put to sleep. It's the hardest thing Carl and I have had to do.
We got home from work last night and there was blood in his bed, on the carpet, all over him. Because of the tumor he had developed blood vessels on his tumor and they had popped then it would start over again. It was making it very difficult for him to breathe. We stayed up with him all night and cried. He started to whimper and made a loud cry about 4am. We learned today that it was possibly a mild stroke.
We know we made the right decision. We'll struggle for a few days but we know he is no longer suffering.

Awe, I am sorry. Buster was a cute little dog. I remember when my mom and dad had to do the same for their cat, Velcro. Velcro was part of the family. A sibling you might say...yes, Buster will be missed.
