Winding Down
4th of July
I know it's not the 4th yet, but I usually change my blog with the holidays! (see I try not to change it more than once a week!!LOL!)
Carl took a few days off. He took off Monday and Tuesday of this week and the 4th is on Wed. So he has a five day weekend. I have a two days. Tuesday and Wed.
Wed we have a BBQ with Christy and some friends. That should be fun.
I gave Buster his summer hair cut, It's just to dang hot for him to have any hair! We're supposed to get to116-118* degrees on Wed(depending on who you watch!) No that's not a type error! I thought it was when I saw the forcast!! It might be a new record!!
Not much else to report, should be a calm weekend.
Oh tonight I am making Oven Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes, and Pound cake from scratch. I am anxious to make the Pound Cake. I gotta wait for it to cool off a bit though. That's the one bad thing about it getting so hot. It's too hot to cook! If the Pound cake turns out, I'll post the recipe.
