another quick post..
sorry I haven't been able to blog much. I pulled a 12hr shift yesterday! yes you heard me right 12hrs! I went in at 12noon and stayed till 12:30 AM! I did the Friday Night Frenzy last night. I was going to do it with Megan (one of our high school girls) but in the end I ended up doing it by myself because it saves me money. We only had 6 people, and we have to divide the money between the two of us. So she wanted to go to her last basketball game and I didn't mind doing it alone. I already did the make n take (a cute little mini book!) and I did little valentine chocolate baskets for treats. We don't do meals anymore, way too many problems. And we were out of cookies. We have alittle oven and order these gigantic cookies from a specialty place that are AWSOME but we are out and waiting for another order, so I had to come up with something fast. But it worked out. We had a great group. I kinda feel bad because two girls showed up at 8:30 (I was a little uncomfortable letting them in, they didn't call first or weren't signed up) We didn't have room, everyone had kinda spread out because there were only six of us. So I didn't know what to do, but they said they would come to the next one. I thought it was kinda weird that they showed up at 8:30. We start at 6 and go till midnight. Without calling. I didn't have anymore make ntakes or treats either. So it was all good. I hope and the ladies I had were a blast. I also did give a ways for whoever finished layouts but I made sure everyone got one in the end. It was really fun.
Kim stuck her head in around 9 to see how it was going and Melissa came back around 10:30 to help me close. I've never closed before.
Anyway that was work.I was supposed to work at 9am this morning but Kim covered for me in the am. and I'm going back at 2 instead. I'm exhausted, there's no way I could have been there at 9am this morning. I didn't get to bed till 2am.
Carl and I did our usually Saturday morning breakfast. With Janet. She's been here all week. Carl takes her to a drs appt tomorrow and then she'll be with Christy for another couple of days. I think she goes back in March. I am trying to be patient and work through some stuff of my own, and then with my work load so I kinda got a little grumpy on thursday. This week should be a lot smoother. But did have a nice check today and next week will be even better with the frenzy!
