It's been another fun but busy weekend.
I worked Saturday morning. It was fairly slow and I did the lab, so it was pretty low key and went really fast. After work, we did our Thanksgiving shopping. We even got our bird. We'll have a small Thanksgiving with Holly and Zane and us. Christy is going to Thanksgiving to see her new boyfriend. So it's just the four of us. But we still plan on doing the full meal on Thanskgiving. What's Thanksgiving without Turkey, Pumpkin and Apple Pie, my traditional Pumpkin Roll, and Hollys rolls!?! Somethings are just meant to be continued. And football of course. I am also hoping to catch my favorite holiday t.v. including "The Great Pumpkin" Charlie Brown Special and one of my all time favorite movies, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
I still laugh till I cry at that movie!
Anyway, Saturday, after we finished our shopping, we did a temple session with the Elders Quorum. We didn't know how many would turn out. We expected it just to be us,the Elders Quorum Pres and his wife and whoever else. It was just us, but then the Bishop and his wife were there also. She used to be the Primary Pres. so I know her pretty well, we just don't know him very well. The temple session was very nice and peaceful. Then we went out to dinner with the three couples. It was really nice and dang Bishop is pretty funny! So is she, I knew she was but he had us both going. It was cool to be on a personal level with everyone and get to know them better. We talked about us leaving at the very end. We laughed about it and then I was really sad, we will be leaving soon and that's always the sad part.
Today, my kids were giving me a few gray hairs. The Res. Pres stopped me on the way to Primary and asked me when we were moving again. Unfortunately Molly happened to be right behind me. Remember I haven't told them yet! I kinda squirmed a bit, and tried to tell her quitely. I wasn't sure if Molly heard or not. We got into class and she said "so when are you going to tell us?!" I was suprised but not really. I told them I didn't know what the Bishops plans were yet, Which is true. We talked about it last night but he didn't say anything about being released.
I said it may not change till the end of the year. Which is only another two weeks after we move. We may stay till then. It was really up to him. I told them there will be a lot of changes at the begining of the year, they already knew that. It will work it self out. The Lord is funny that way. We never know what's gonna happen, but it always seems to fall into place.
