Happy Recovery!!
I hope everyone had wonderful relaxing and enjoyable stuffed full, Happy Thanksgiving!
Ours was very small and very nice. It was just us and the cousins. I still did my traditional Pumpkin Roll, Carl did his Turkey and fabulous homemade maple sausage stuffing!
Yesterday, I did actually hit the mall in the morning but not till around 8am. I actually had to stop there on my way to work anyway. Since I didn't have to be to work till 11am. I bought me some new tennis shoes. I desperately needed. $40 shoes and I got them for $8.95 at Payless!
Got love Payless!! I didn't buy anything else at the Mall, but later after Carl picked me up, we stopped at Target and got the 6th and 8th season of the Simpsons! (he already has the 7th). They had them for $16each! Normally they are around $30-$35! I got a pair of jeans. We got new cell phones today! We are dropping Qwest at the end of next month and going with Verizon. I will get everyone all our new information. We'll have new everything when we move. Cable, Phones, internet/email. etc. etc. I am actually looking forward to it!!
Speaking of moving the packing is coming along smoothly I am quite pleased! But I apologize for my lack of blogging! I have one closet completed, the bathrooms, and most of the storage, reorganzied and repacked and gone through. We have thrown out A LOT and we donated three bags to D.I. this morning.
This morning, we hung out at Di's new house in Ahuawatukee! It wasn't as far as I thought it would be. We had to get the car serviced this morning so we did that and then went to her place, it wasn't far from the dealership. Ahuawatukee (if I'm even spelling it right) is on the other side of town from us. Normally a half hour drive or so.
Then we came home and finished more on the storage. Carl and I went through a lot of mission stuff and school stuff, repacked things. It was good to go through it and know what we still had and what we still need to put into books. It's been 10 years and I still don't have it organized!
One of these years!
I am very anxious to get moved and get it done! Everyone on Carls side will be here for Christmas on the 21st (our anniversary!) so we want to be done by then! Wish us luck! I will try to update when I can and hopefully post pictures!
