What a week it has been. Sorry I haven't been blogging as much as I used to. I sort of felt like I had the wind taken out of my sails, with work. I am still adjusting. But doing better. I even compliment from a travel agent to my supervisor on Friday. So that was nice. I must be doing something right.

Friday night was a blast! We had a ward Elders Quorum party. We met at someones house. They have a theatre in their basement, so we had a BBQUE and watched a movie. We were going to rent Church ball, but we couldn't get it, so we ended watching. Italian Job. I have decided is one of my favorite action movies. We had about 35-40 people come! It was a lot of fun. We sat with the Keelers and the Booths. Carl works with Bryce Keeler. Bryce is the Elders Quorum pres. and Carl is the seceratary. Bro. Ken Booth is the 2nd counselor in the bishopric and Janette is the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society. Their son Jayden is my class. Usually the three of us sit together at church functions. We are relativly the same age. It's funny because we are now calling each other by their first names, but it's hard because I know we have calling and are supposed to call them Bro and Sis - Janette told me on Friday they had the same conversation, but now we've decided unless kids are around (to show respect) that it's okay to call each other by our first names.

Then on Sat morning we went camping with Holly and Zane. That was wonderful! It was nice to get away from EVERYTHING for a little bit. Even if it's just for a day. It seems time stands still when you're up in the mountians. We went up to Woods Lake Canyon which is just outside of Payson. Holly and Zane went up on Friday to find a spot. We didn't go with them then because of the function Friday night. Christy met us Saturday morning and went up with us.

It was perfect weather. and BEAUTIFUL!! I'll post some pics here in a bit, I am still uploading
them. The funniest thing was though, we got to the visitors center to wait for Holly and Zane to take us up to the camp site. I somehow kicked the car door or got out wrong or something and smashed my two middle twos. I thought I had just jammed them. This morning I am learning they are broken!! They are nice pretty shades of black and purple all the way to the top part of my foot. It doesn't really hurt it's just complicated to walk, without putting pressure on it.
Holly had me bandage them, but it hurt to put the bandage on.
Bilko wasn't so sure he liked camping at all. He kept heading for the car. Buster would find the sunny spots or the camping chair and hang out or sleep he seemed to be enjoying the cooler air.
Zane is the pro dutch oven cooker. We had hobo dinners for lunch (yummy!) and then he made a whole chicken with potatoes and bacon and onions. It was soo good! Then we had the apple cobbler! I think that's also one of the best things about camping is the eating part! This morning we were up at about 6:00. It was chilly but it wasn't freezing. We expected it to be colder. This is NORTHERN Arizona mind you!LOL! It was a gorgeous camp site. We had two neighbors, but they were the perfect distance away.
We were in a canyon so sound echoed easily. It was a nice way to sort of recoop from a crazy week. Carls not feelin so hot and my foots really swollen, but our brains aren't going nintey miles an hour. We definately want to do more camping.
