Day 5
Helsinki, Finland
5.2million people
Language:Finnish/Swedish
Religion:Lutheran/Orthodox
Currency:Euro

We did Helsinki on our own. It's a small enough town and lots of shops. Mostly trendy shops. but it was a cute little town!I did find scrapbook supplies in a downtown store, it was an office supply store. Nothing we didn't have at home.
We did a bus tour in the afternoon. We went to the Rock Church which was pretty cool. It's built of a mountain. The other picture of the tower you see is their olympic flame/Olympic stadium. The statue Carl is giving a thumbs down to is a wierd statue that the Queen gave to the city. It was kinda tacky we thought and so did the tour guide! LOL! It was not a favorite for the people of Helsinki!
