So I am in Utah! Yes, it happened quite suddenly. My Aunt Beth had called me last week and mentioned she was going up Easter Weekend, because her son's fiance was having a bridal shower that weekend and asked if I wanted to go along. I fiqured out a way to get the time off work. The fun part was that we kept it a secret. The only person we told that I was coming was Angel. (my SisterInlaw). I swore her to secrecy - I wanted it to be a suprise, especially since Michelle had had her baby and I hadn't seen Matia yet - and my mom's bday was last week.
We didn't get here until late last night. I finally had to have Angel call Kait, my baby sister, who is here from San Fransico, to see if she would keep my mom up for another hour. Which she did splendidly without spilling the secret, it wasn't even until I had walked in the door, that the secret was revealed! And she (mymom) was thrilled!
Today we spent mostly running around. We had to get gifts for the shower tomorrow. I will see the rest of the extended family tomorrow at the shower. I have not met Quinns fiance yet.
Toria (beths oldest daughter) is also her with her little boy. So this has all worked out very well.
I did finally see little Annebelle. And she is precious!I will post pictures when I get back, unless I can fiqure out how to do it on my moms computer. She has a full head of black hair! All the babies so far have had very blonde hair or red hair.(she gets that from her dad, my brother Chris) She has had jondice?! I don't know how to spell it, but where the skin turns yellow. They fortuantley have not had to keep her in the hospital, but under lights. Its a little suitcase with neon lights, they had to do that for 17 hrs the first night. Today we took her and Michelle up to the hospital to test her levels and she is getting better, so tonight they only have to put under the lights for a few hours. She's eating better now and that's helping.
And little Matia is just as happy as a clam. They are both with little chipmunk cheeks.I carried Matia most of the way through Costco and she was happy as can be. She's a pretty calm baby. As is Annebelle.
The weather has been comfortable. it's about 75degrees! And rainy.I will post more tomorrow. I am here until Sunday and then we leave on Easter sunday unfortunately. I would love to stay for the holiday but that's not feasable with work. Bummer...
