Happy April Fools

No jokes today! I was hoping the $329 brake charge was a joke - but no. It's okay I suppose because fortunatly right now we can do that, we had planned on it. We just didn't know they were are as bad as they were. The 4runner has been a wonderful car, it has seen the road a time or two or three.... but it has run VERY well, (knock on HARD wood!) so it was okay to get the brakes fixed.
It took all freakin day - but that's okay because we had planned on staying home and watching Confrence anyway (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has a confrence every 6months, it's a way we get guidance and directions, from our inspired leaders). Fortunately down here, one of the local stations broadcastes it (from Live feed in Salt Lake city) so we can still watch it home. It used to be that we had to go the churches to watch it. Now we can watch it in the comfort of our home.
So I didn't get dressed - till after it was over, to go pick up the car. That was NICE!
Confrence was Very nice. I am a little worried about Pres. Hinkley. He is getting up there in age - his job has aged him, as it has some of the other leaders, the one that shocked me the most was President Boyd K.Packer. He is one of my favorites. I love to hear him talk.His voice is like a grandpa voice. But I was shocked to see him today and how much he is ageing. Even he was walking with a cane, as was Pres.Faust. I think Pres.Monson is the only one not walking with a cane. We just saw him a few weeks ago.
This evening we rented a couple of movies. We rented Madagascar and Ron White's new comedy concert. Madagascar was not as funny as I had hoped.It was really kinda lame. Chris Rock and Jada Smiths voices got annoying after a while. We didn't make it all the way through the Ron WHite one, but it was pretty funny. Carl got really tired and crashed.
Tomorrow - I am making my infamous Baked Potatoe Soup in the crock pot! YUMMY!
