Sunday Suprises!
What an exciting day today! First we had changes at church. We had been forewarned - by Bishop Pothier that things were going to change, he just didn't say what. For a while I was worried that he was going to be released. He has been sooo wonderful and become a good friend. For that
I am so thankful! After we had met with him last week, he reassured Carl that HE wasn't going anywhere, but his counselors were changing.
So this morning - they released both our 1st and 2nd counselor. It was no suprise really of who did get the new callings.
We also are part of a new class for Sunday School - and I'm kinda glad. Gospel Doctorine, gets a little boring for me. We are now in Family Relations! HA HA! I don't know why I think that's funny!LOL! They called us on Tue and asked if we would attend. So we went to day and Sis. Bowman is the teacher. She used to be the Relief Society Pres. She is a very nice lady, she is the first person that came over and welcomed us into the ward, a year or so ago. So it was nice to have another familiar face. The class is small and mostly young couples and the Bradshaws and the Bowmans! Older couples! lol! I guess they want to mix it up. But it's nice!
More good news, Chris Im'd me this afternoon and informed me that Michelle is 'great with child!!!' I am EXTACTIC for them!!! I am a little shocked but I think it's WONDERFUL news. I think it's really cool that she and Angel will share some of the pregnancy stuff and have babies very close in age. Now most of the cousins will be close together! I think she's going to have a girl! I hope that's okay with you Michelle! LOL!
Btw - Angel I love the names you have come up with as well. Bella is my favorite, but of course we will love any of it! Boy,Mr Stork has been busy in their families! LOL! But I am soo excited!
I also made a fantastic dinner if I do say so myself. I am really enjoying cooking, especially baking. I made Baked Potatoe Soup. It was YUMMY. I added heavy cream to it, to make it creamy and richer. I also used green onions instead of white and it gave it a lot more flavor. I also made bread again from scratch. I need to get a really nice mixer and new baking tins. Stuff like that. I'd really like to take a cooking class. Maybe this fall. That would be a lot of fun!
